The next quarterly meeting of the Shelby County Groundwater Board is September 10th, and we need community members who care about protecting our drinking water to show up and speak out.
We're expecting a full agenda, including:
--Updates on Shelby County Health Department finances
--Discussion of revenue generated from the well permit fee increase approved earlier this year (we did that!)
--Updates from the new Groundwater Protection Committee
